	<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://features.cgsociety.org/gallerycrits/92164/92164_1173375433_small.jpg"><br><br>That's my entry of &quot;The Lost World&quot; challenge proclaimed by 3DM3 that won the First Prize as Golden Winner of 2D section.<br />
It's a matte painting with a final resolution of 4K.<br />
I was inspired by various italian locations like Calcata, Civita di Bagnoregio, Termiti Islands and the coast of Corsica.<br />

The final resolution has been rendered at 4752x2572 px on a notebook with Centrino Duo and 2 GB Ram Memory.<br />
There are 2.601.395 polys and 356 different textures.]]>
