That's my entry of "The Lost World" challenge proclaimed by 3DM3 that won the First Prize as Golden Winner of 2D section.
It's a matte painting with a final resolution of 4K.
I was inspired by various italian locations like Calcata, Civita di Bagnoregio, Termiti Islands and the coast of Corsica.

That's a personal project; it's a faithful reconstruction of "Piazza Grande", the hanging square of Gubbio (Italy).
The final resolution has been rendered at 4752x2572 px on a notebook with Centrino Duo and 2 GB Ram Memory.
